Wearable Sensor Tools for Efficient Human Robot Interaction

Human-robot interaction (HRI) technology is growing rapidly, with many products being designed to operate outside the industry, such as in home. However, controlling robots a domestic setting challenging due high variations environments. Also, human behaviour varies, and same individual might behave differently similar situations. In this paper, design of wearable data acquisition system, comprised sensors control box that communicates wirelessly on robot improve safe human-robot collaboration tasks, revised. The literature review identifies factors affect robotic system’s wearability leads production Product Design Specification (PDS), against which original subsequent designs set-up are evaluated. Several iterations assessed, how limitations overcome explained reference location, ergonomics, wearability. final prototype then tested users using ‘range motion’ ‘representative task’ experiments assess its improved potential applications device environment suggestions for future scope research made.
